What type of units can I put on my lot?

Lot purchasers may have fifth wheel/ travel trailers, motor homes and park models, that are not unsightly if older than 12 years. Standards have been created to assist lot owners with details to enhance the overall look of the community. No recreational vehicle shall be placed on a lot that exceeds 12 years in age on the date of its placement, or approved at the discretion of the developer.

Do you accept pets?

Yes, pets are welcomed on your property and designated areas only. Off leash dog area is provided for your pets' pleasure. Pets are prohibited on golf course and playground area ,and there is a three pet maximum per lot.

Is there a restaurant near by?

Yes, there is a licensed Golf Course Club House Restaurant which offers limited food and beverage services for the summer months. For fine dining or a great selection of food items, the Village at Pigeon Lake is only 5 minutes away. These restaurants are known for their daily Chef specials year round as well as their fine baked pies and cinnamon buns!

How close are grocery stores and other amenities?

Complete retail facilities are located in the Village at Pigeon Lake which include a postal service outlet, hair salon, day spa, full service drug/grocery store, clothing and household items retailers, restaurants, coffee shops, service station, motel/hotel, medical services, an ATB Bank , art store, and so on. A full service Co-op hardware & food store is located at Falun, just a 10 minute drive west on highway #13.

Is there a noise bylaw?

Yes, a noise bylaw is in place to ensure the communities' overall enjoyment. Excessive noise is not permitted between 11pm and 8 am.

Do you have architectural controls?

Yes. Simple controls are in place to ensure maximum visual benefit for all lot owners, as every lot has a spectacular view! See restrictive covenants when visiting our sales center for full details.

Can I put fences up or other buildings on my property?

Yes, you are permitted to put up a black chain link fence no higher than 4 feet. Out building can not exceed 150 square feet in size and 10 feet in height when built separate from the fire shed. A 3 sided small fire shed is also permitted. If fire shed and out building are combined, a maximum of 200 square feet is permitted. Play stations, tree forts etc all must be placed on the property within the set backs guidelines. See our restrictive covenants for full details at our sales center.

Do we have on site laundry facilities?

Yes, the coin operated laundry facility will be located at the Members Recreation Club.

Are we allowed to have out buildings on our lots?

Yes out buildings are permitted and encouraged for the storing of your personal items to keep your property looking great. There are specific guidelines to follow such as size, length, height and color. Each shed must meet the guidelines set out in the restrictive covenants. The largest out building allowed is 200 Sq feet.

Are there any fees?

There are no Strata / Condo fees regarding your lot purchase. This is significant when choosing to purchase an RV lot. This will save you thousands of dollars over the years! Taxes are paid to the County and currently that would be approximately $440. / year. Yes there are membership fees to maintain the on-site members recreation club. If you do not wish to use the Members Recreation Club, there is no fee to be paid. It is designed as a user pay system.

What sports activities are near by?

Besides our numerous on site amenities, in the summer fishing, swimming, golfing, hiking, biking, sight seeing, nature watching, quading, and boating are in close proximity. The winter offers the opportunity to cross country ski, snowmobile, skate, snow shoe or ice fish.

What activities are there for kids?

The resort is a place that the children can feel safe as they enjoy the numerous on-site amenities. From court sports like basketball, tennis and volleyball to aquatic pleasures of the splash/swimming pool and hot tub and playground, the kids will make lasting friendships and memories. Evening outdoor movies at our Community Center will sure to be a hit! Our community camp kitchen surely will be a great summer gathering place for youth and adults alike. In the area the activities are endless. With in a short drive there are mini put golf courses, panning for gold, corn maze, petting zoo, beaches, biking trails, summer kids camps, and so on!

How will the streets be finished?

All roadways will be paved in our community as well as the main road from Highway #13 to our development so there will be no gravel roads to contend with.
